- Don’t try to compete with those around you, compete with yourself – Although CrossFit classes happen in a group setting, don’t try to compete with those around you. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t perform as well as others in your class, focus on your own progress.
- Take breaks when you need them – You know your body better than anyone else, and you know if you are pushing yourself too far. Don’t be afraid to take breaks when you need them.
- Adjust your diet – Diet is such an important part of your life, and it directly affects how you perform in physical activities, like CrossFit. Eat plenty of protein, good fats, veggies and fruit, and don’t forget to drink plenty of water!
